My #1 Tip For Creating Systems Quickly
Whether you're stepping into the next chapter feeling rested, nourished and ready to rock it or needing some more rest and recovery...
I know that creating systems to support you is on your to-do list this year.
How do I know?
Because if you're here I know I don't have to tell you how systems make life and business smoother and more easeful.
I'm preaching to the choir.
You're down with systems.
Maybe you have some but you want them to be better.
Or you don't have them and the pain of not having them is starting to outweigh the pain of putting them in place.
Wherever you're at, I want to share my #1 tip for putting systems in place quickly:
Connect your systems to your big goals.
If you're looking for more free time, more revenue, more consistency - systems can help.
The trick is intentionally connecting your systems to your big goals so that it's clear why you need to make them getting them in place a priority.
For example, when I wanted to set up an evergreen sales system for my signature online course...
Instead of it being a painful task on my to-do list that I kept putting off, I focused on the fact that once I put it together, sales for my course could come in at anytime without me having to do ANY additional work.
That connected to my bigger goals of consistent and leveraged income which allowed me to take faster action to get it done.
It was clear to me how that system would support my bigger goals.
AND once I got it in place, it would be working for me while I focused on my next project which gave me even more motivation to get it done.
So two questions for you:
1. What systems will directly support your big goals?
2. What systems can you put in place that will work for you while you work on other things?
If you're brand new with systems and you're not sure where to start, I recommend getting a task and project management system in place FIRST.
Get started with the free Asana Mini Training.
This allows you to more efficiently and effectively organize and manage the work on your plate so you can get clear and focused on what to tackle when.
From there, prioritizing and getting things done becomes faster and easier.
