What Season Of Business Are You In?

I want to talk about something really important today.

(In fact, I wrote this on my notes app at this cute family owned Spanish cafe this morning and then bumped the post I had planned for today because I think it's that important.)

At this time of year, people are often in one of two vibes:

  • Smash all the goals.

  • I'm exhausted, is it 2022 yet?

The thing that I want to call attention to is whether or not you're choosing the energy and approach you're bringing to wrapping up your year.

This is about intentionality.

It’s ok to be in a season of pushing, hustling, and smashing your goals.

... Maybe you want to hit your revenue goals.

... Maybe you're launching a podcast.

... Maybe you're running a big holiday sale.

And it’s ok to be in a season where you take a beat, recalibrate, rest and regroup.

... Maybe you're rethinking your business model.

... Maybe you're working on your habits, thoughts, and confidence.

... Maybe you're simply taking your foot off the gas for a minute.

Where I think we get into trouble is...

When we place expectations on ourselves to be in a season of effort but we don't fully show up for that effort.

OR

We choose to rest and recalibrate but we don't give ourselves permission to FULLY be in that season.

Or worse yet, we don't choose at all - we just react our way to the end of the year not hitting our goals, not resting, not getting intentional with our time and effort.

Whatever season you’re in, I invite you to CHOOSE IT and give yourself permission to fully be there.

I'm in a Spring season in my business. I'm decluttering, rethinking, systematized, breathing a fresh breath of air into how I do things.

A few very big changes are coming and I'm preparing.

I think I'm in Spring because my body is confused as to why it's getting so much Vitamin D at this time of year 😂 (I've been in Spain for the past month).

However, an important thing to note: for me, this doesn’t mean that sales stop.

I have a handful of 1:1 clients (these spots are currently fully booked).

My signature course Scattered to Streamlined has an evergreen funnel running to it and is always accepting new students.

And my signature program, The Systems Fix has a hybrid evergreen funnel and is open to new clients at anytime.

I know that for some of you, that's not the case.

If you need a season of inward focus but you simply can't take the time to regroup - trust me, I know that feeling.

My questions to you are:

  • What's the most important thing you could do to reclaim some of your time?

  • What small steps could you take to start building a new way so this time next year things are different?

  • What would it mean to you to be able to shift out of hustle-mode in your business when you want to?

Seriously, reach out and share that with me.

If I can help you hash out a plan of attack, I will.
